ERIK STUDIO by Erik Wijaya is a professional photographer based in Malang ( East Java) and Bali. He is the autodidact photographer, photography is his hobby since he was 12 years old ( 1987) . Supported drawing as his hobby, he used a RICOH KR-10 35mm SLR Camera for his first learned of photography, he loved to shot his friends, landscape, family & school events, even his favorite movie posters and cinema.
He was graduated from a famous university of graphic design in Surabaya, and continued in a economic university in Malang, 1999, he continued open a radio mall, Bali Jazz in a famous mall in Malang. He collaborated his hobbies are photography and music as the new promo system : Bali Jazz Radio Mall. Started at 2002, used his 35mm film camera NIKON F65, ERIK STUDIO made continuously system operations for events, exhibitions, and advertising. Second operated from Legian Kuta, Bali. ERIK STUDIO more focus on journalism, still life, human interest, and fine art photography, used 35mm SLR film camera. Though primary base in Malang, ERIK STUDIO travel all over Java and Bali. Third operated on Digital Art Photography & Artworks, started in 2004, used DSLR NIKON camera. ERIK STUDIO operated from Legian Kuta, Bali till May 2007. 8th JUNE 2007, ERIK STUDIO was opened in Malang and operating from the house as a single person operations, ERIK STUDIO businesses are wedding and engagements ( 90% in Bali ) , commercial food and products, fashion, and I used to be a photo journalist for a few magazines.
With his own style, following his intuition to take better or best pictures, taking as himself styles and hobbies, and he likes to do to make happy together..
